My daughter and her husband will be traveling to the coast for Thanksgiving. We will have the traditional turkey and a couple of cranberry dishes. We are in cranberry country here. bogs everywhere. As we speak, the cranberry harvests are taking place. Canberry salsa will star again this year.
Cranberry Salsa (Provided by Ray's Food Place)
3Chopped tomatoes
2 Granny Smith apples, chopped
5 T lime juice
2 Cups dried cranberries, chopped
3 Green onions, chopped
2 Jalapeno peppers, seeded and chopped
2 T honey
1/4 C fresh, chopped cilantro
Combine tomatoes, apples and lime juice. Toss to coat.
Add all remaining ingredients, toss.
Chill and serve with tortilla chips
