Nice, France, 2008
We can chart our lives around the places we visited, the exciting surprises we captured, the food we experienced.
Here, in Nice, at Gaston's, the waiter suggested seafood paella with a wonderful Pinot Gris. For dessert, we had a light as feather tiramisu. Everything was delicious, and though paella and tiramisu might not be traditional Easter fare, I plan on re-creating both dishes this Sunday.
What are you having for dinner this Easter?
Roast lamb is the tradition in our house! To begin, some fois gras and to end a chocolate cake -- rather a tradition in the UK to have a chocolate dessert and I didn't need much convincing!!
ReplyDeleteWe are celebrating quietly, just the two of us tonight with a pot au feu. Tomorrow we are going to a wine fair and then on to friends for dinner. Happy Easter Diane
ReplyDeleteIt is just D and I this Easter. Haven't given much thought to the meal yet but your post has me thinking something special is a good idea, just for two. Happy Easter to you! He is Risen! He is Risen Indeed.
ReplyDeleteWe are going to brunch. I hope I don't eat too much. I like your plans. They sound perfect to me.
