There was no choice involved. When I met my beloved current husband, he never wanted me to "bother" cooking..there was just the 2 of us then and we could go out and bring something prepared in. Lucky woman, I. However, there was a hole within me that wanted to get into the kitchen and create. Since retirement I find myself more in touch with food, growing it, preparing it and eating it. Today I usually cook..and because I want to..but I always know I have the choice to say I think I will make...reservations...for dinner tonight!Patriciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03688846429279351574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5962334366589875080.post-54320841754461894832010-11-19T07:42:53.153-08:002010-11-19T07:42:53.153-08:00Nothing else will complicate your life as your own...Nothing else will complicate your life as your own ambition!

Aint that the ever livin' truth!ellen abbotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00535475792150335186noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5962334366589875080.post-24224419125885939642010-11-18T17:21:51.728-08:002010-11-18T17:21:51.728-08:00Great philosophy and advice! I can buy fabulous, organic, local vegetables easily and that's what I do. Now my garden is only plants that agree with the mountain.mermaid galleryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04678555215616371872noreply@blogger.com
